Bruce joined Butler, Rosenbury & Partners, Inc. in 1990. Named partner in 1997, he's responsible for project management and has practiced almost exclusively in the retail and entertainment industries for the last 20 years.

Bruce received his Bachelor of Architecture from Louisiana State University. A registered architect and a member of the American Institute of Architects, he is a LEED Accredited Professional with the Building Design & Construction designation. Bruce has been published in several issues of Shopping Center World and was nominated for a 2004 Everyday Hero Award from the Red Cross and KY3.

Active in the community, Bruce is a graduate of Leadership Springfield and is a past President of the Springfield Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. He has served on the City of Springfield's Traffic Advisory Board, and has been a Board Member and past President of Ozark Greenways, Inc. and is currently involved with sustainable transportation advocacy with Ozark Greenways, and facilitating strategic planning for the Watershed Committee of the Ozarks and Ozarks Green Building Coalition.

Outside the office Bruce is always game for anything that is outdoors, off-road and involves some level of risk and adventure such as mountain biking, skiing, trail running and adventure racing. He is always looking for ways to combine business and fun; going on trail runs and mountain bike trips in lieu of the golf course. He and his wife ride a tandem bicycle; and he has participated in the MS 150 every year since 1993.

Professionally, he does not like being put in the box of being an architect. He derives great pleasure in hearing what was not said, problem solving and connecting the dots toward future trends.
