David Hess, AIA
Vice President, Hospitality Studio Leader

David joined Butler, Rosenbury & Partners in 1987. Named partner in 1997, David is responsible for project management, architectural design and Hospitality Studio leadership.

When he's not at work, he enjoys renovating his 90-year-old house, reading and traveling with his family.

His experience includes hotels, convention and exposition centers, restaurants, educational facilities and governmental projects.

David is a registered architect in Missouri and Indiana and graduated with a bachelor of architecture degree from Kansas State University. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, board member of the Rountree Neighborhood Association, past member of Springfield Landmark Board, a graduate of the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce - Leadership Springfield, and he always has time for Friday night "pizza and a movie" with his wife and three sons. He has served as an adjunct professor at the Hammons School of Architecture.
