Native Texan and Star Wars memorabilia collector, Christopher moved to Springfield in 1993 to attend the Hammons School of Architecture (HSA) at Drury University. He earned his Bachelor of Architecture from HSA in 1998.

Christopher has worked for Butler, Rosenbury & Partners since graduation. His focus now is leading the Civic + Community Studio which focuses on facilities for K-12 education, higher education, churches, and state and local governments. Christopher also focuses on the preservation, restoration and adaptive re-use of historic structures.

Christopher believes in serving his community. He has served HSA through the Alumni Curriculum Advisory Committee, Director's Search Committee and the Drury Alumni Council. As an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Chris has served the Board of Directors since 2002 and currently serves as President. He also has served on the State Board for AIA Missouri. He has served as a grader of discretionary grant funds for the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Chris is also a member of Leadership Springfield Class XXIII.

Christopher and his wife have three daughters. His interests include floating regional rivers and streams, listening to Bluegrass music& and driving his restored '64-1/2 Ford Mustang.
