Springfield Architect Named One of Springfield's 40 Most Influential Professionals
(Springfield, MO) – Chris Swan, AIA, is one of 40 recipients of the Springfield Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Award. This is the tenth year SBJ has issued this award. Individuals are nominated by readers and selected by a panel of judges. Winners are chosen based on their accomplishments and contributions to the community.
Swan, 33, is a graduate of the Hammons School of Architecture, Drury University, Springfield. He is an architect and studio leader at Butler, Rosenbury & Partners. Swan is a member of the 2008 class of Leadership Springfield, President of the Springfield American Institute of Architects, former board member of AIA Missouri, former member of Rotaract, and volunteers at his children’s school and various areas throughout Springfield. He is married to Jennifer Swan, also an architect. The couple has three daughters.
Swan and 39 others will be honored at a special ceremony Thursday, May 8 at the Springfield Cardinals indoor practice facility at Hammons Field. ###
